1. Is Monitored Home Care covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance companies?

5: I want this for my mom & dad who live together, do I have to pay two monitoring fees?
Answer:No, the monitoring fee remains the same. There is a small one time fee of $69.00 for an extra Personal Help Button.

6: Must I sign a long term multi-year agreement?
Answer: No. We do not have a long term agreement. We have a simple month-to-month agreement which you can cancel anytime (without penalty or cancellation fees) with just a 30 day notice.

7: Will my monthly service fee ever increase?
Answer: Monitored Home Care is pleased to have never raised our monthly service fee ever. Your agreement states the service fee that you will pay and that is all you will ever be charged. In the event we will ever need to raise our fees, the increase will apply only to new subscribers.

8: Does the system work anywhere in the United States?
Answer: Yes!

9: What are your Customer Service hours?

10: How long will it take to receive my Monitored Home Care system?
Answer: Simply place your order online or call us at 877-770-2537. We will rush your Monitored Home Care system to you using expedited shipping services by UPS.

11: How large is the Monitored Home Care pendant?
Answer: The unit is very small and lightweight and you can select the pendant, which is worn around the neck. We also have a wristwatch pendant.

12: Can I use my pendant in the shower?
Answer: Yes. The transmitter is waterproof and designed to operate in the shower.

13: How will emergency personnel gain access to my home?
Answer: Should we have to contact medical personnel, we will also contact any family, friends or neighbors on your contact list that have a key to meet the medical responders and open your door.

If you are concerned about your contact people not being there in time, we recommend using either a hidden key or purchasing a Lock Box. Your care specialist will provide the lock box key door combination or hidden key location to the responding medical personnel to gain access to your home.

14: What if I lose power?
Answer: Your Monitored Home Care has a backup battery that automatically activates when the system experiences a power outage. This battery is designed to last up to 32 hours in emergency conditions. Once power has been restored, the battery will self - charge.

15: How do I return my Monitored Home Care when I'm done using it?
Answer: Save the box that Monitored Home Care came in when we shipped it to you. Then call us at 877-700-2537 and we will arrange for the return shipping at our expense or it can be brought to our office. Mail or deliver your Monitored Home Care system to:

16: Does this product come with a guarantee/warranty?
Answer: The product comes with an unconditional warranty on parts, labor and service. Repairs are free unless the unit or transmitter is lost.

17: How often does the system need to be serviced? Who will provide the service?
Answer: Your Monitored Home Care system requires no routine servicing. The system has self-diagnostic features, which alert the monitoring center if there is a problem. Should the system require service we will send out a new system to you immediately.
